I have been using non-rechargeable AAA batteries for my keyboard, wall clocks, remotes etc. But now a days the life of those batteries is hardly a month (used Panasonic, nippo, eveready non alkaline ones), so I was just intrigued that have the company decreased the life of the cell to maintain the price of it or its just a waste to use them and i should be more inclined to use alkaline batteries. One thing i did observe is that alkaline batteries tend to leak once they are dying. So what are your experience with those different kind of batteries available and which one would you recommend.

Where do you buy it from? For me it last a year in clocks & tv remotes

if you are using in clocks and remote use general batteries.
Rechargeable batteries are better used in toys and heavy duty stuff like trimmers or toys etc...

It depends on machinery itself many times.
I found that only one particular wall clock need regular battery replacement. So started using alkaline battery in it.
Also I use rechargeable batteries on my fire tv remote else change is needed every month or two.
Mostly buy cheapest one from bigbasket in 10s pack.
One can stock alkaline one from current Amazon sale.

yup same situation here as well, one of my wall clock has that sweep motion and it requires change almost every month. Even firetv remote doesn't work for more than 2 months at max on carbon zinc ones, now started using alkaline for it.

Has alkaline battery usage improved battery life? Recently bought Energiser batteries but not used them yet.
Have started using duracell from this month onwards, and haven't faced any issues with the remotes as of now. Pricing wise they are almost 2x the price of a normal carbon zinc ones, so should atleast give double the backup.

stay away from amazonbasics non-rechargeable batteries. pretty shit.
And I thought I was the only one experiencing next to nothing life of carbon zinc pencil cells over the past year or so. So apparently there are a lot of fake batteries in circulation.
I moreover think that even with counterfeit products available, the companies must have decreased the quality of the cells just to keep them in cheaper price bracket..

Using Eveready AAA batteries (red colour) in Jio Fiber remote. Started from December 2019. Changed last month ie. September 2020. Seems a pretty good duration considering the cost of the batteries. Now have to see how much time the new ones last.

I find there are many duplicate batteries of Nippo / Navino & National available in my area. I always insist for ever ready as it is 1 rupee costly than others.
