Problem with archer c6 in bridge mode

Yesterday i received the archer c6 and decided to pair it with Netlink HG323RGW onu. I followed the steps mentioned in Netlink Bridge Mode without port / mac reset | BSNL Bharat Fiber , but after connecting ,
1.The router had frequent loss of connection for every 2 minutes , never happened with onu
2. In speed test i noticed the ping was 44 while it usually stays in 20s in my ont
Also i took backup as said in the post with file name lastgood.xml but the pppPassword mentioned in it didnt work for me , so i used the commonly used "password " phrase and it worked
Please someone guide me , dont know if my unit is faulty .

Mac binding is not an issue with BSNL as i have confirmed when i changed from Digisol to Syrotech router.

Only binding is the Vlan id and the user details as informed to me.

Have you set the Netgear in bridge mode?
Is DHCP disabled in Netgear.
