The 5Ghz coverage is really bad on A6/C6 both. I guess Mercusys can do a better job . Some member has bought it

on shitty routers perhaps. i mean in theory even the basic routers have 300mbps speeds on 2.4ghz.

Also depends on your link speeds. On my earlier device Poco X3 with link speeds around 433 Mbps, I got near to 70 Mbps on 2.4 ghz. On my present Edge 20fusion it has link speeds of only 11 Mbps, so I get speeds of 4-5mbps only.

My router supports up to 600 mbps on 2.4 Ghz and I have a 500 mbps internet connection but this is what I get 10 feet away from the router on 2.4 Ghz

In 2022, there’s no need to use 2.4 ghz WiFi for anything other than smart home devices etc

So my internet provider is offering 200 mbps, and the router I currently have is MercurySYS AC12G

Should I get any specific ONU myself or just go with what they are offering?

Best to first check what model are they offering, might be an AC1200 model only in which case it wouldn’t make much of a difference
