@lana @irongiant91 They upgraded my connection to Fiber for free. Didn't take even service charge.
As for Technicolor, I had that exact same modem before upgrading to fiber. I also had connection drop issues. But my issue was different, apparently. I dunno much about the technical stuff on that, but from what I understood, the signal via the coaxial was so noisy that after the SNR moves past a particular value, the modem automatically reboots itself to fix it (which is a feature). Instead of them fixing the noise, they replaced the cables and gave me fiber.
