Hey guys,

I am using BSNL fibre for last 7 years and despite being down multiple times in single month for years I still continued and now with new plans all things are going down at BSNL, there was too much technical difficulties in speed and some how LCO changed wire and uploaded patched firmware on Huawei ONT but now frequently connection goes down! I visited BSNL exchange today and after gossiping for a hour they denied of any speed increase and no facility for new ONT.

Now my bill comes 1,100 rupees [777 plan - 50mbps] and according to new plan if I change to 799 plan it will cost me aprrox 1,100 (799 + 143[GST] ) (ONT rental - 90 + 16[GST] ) or maybe more!

And if I compare to airtel it is 150 rupees more and no ONT rental on airtel fibre with free installation with only 950 rupees for 100mbps per month.

So guys please suggest me if I should shift to airtel fibre or do something else?
PS: I am not interested in buying new ONT as I have already paid approx 8,900 rupees for BSNL ONT rental and if I get airtel connection there are no charges for ONT.

Thanks and Regards,

Two Words: Switch. Now.
Airtel is better than Jio because of open config ONT, Public IP and all, and if u get Airtel One plan then you can get DTH, Postpaid and Fiber under 2k per month, plan varies as per ur requirement

Thanks chief for your input
Airtel did mentioned about 2k plan but after tax it will cost around 2,300 hence more expensive than my current solution (BSNL Fibre + Tata Sky DTH + 3 Airtel Prepaid sim)
