My Upload speeds are much higher than my Download speed which can't exceed more than 10 Mbps.

hi I am having this repeated issues that My Download Speeds are much lower than my Upload speeds and my Upload speed are much higher than my Download speed. I have also contacted my BSNL NOC and they said that they didn't find any issue with my download speed and they said some speedtest are providing false results for BSNL Fiber. Really ???? is speed test results are fixed ?? so that i can't get higher download speed. My Rx and Tx Power is also fine. Not find solution for this slow download speed. Sharing some screenshots also.

Do a speedtest to Bharti Airtel Delhi/Chennai/Mumbai and one to Excitel.

Also do one test with BSNL's official speedtest

Ok since you have bad speeds to almost all of them just have few speedtest on BSNL official speedtest to make your case strong and complain and then esclate it to pgportal if nothign works

Can u download something and check the speeds u are getting for it?

yes i download an app from google play store in my mobile and it is showing 32 Mbps downloading speed.

It's just an issue at the backend. Network congestion. Try at night just to confirm

Download something over LAN. Speed tests have always been unreliable for me on BSNL.

Then its network congestion for sure , maybe their routers are overloaded ,it will take longer time to rectify itself

I have been facing a similar issue since my plan got changed. Complained to local BSNL, LCO, BSNL corporate. Waiting for a solution

Interestingly all such complains are mostly from deep north and north-east regions, I think @DarkNate was right about current bandwidth capacity of 27 Gbps for NE Region

But some like sloj, who resides just few 4 km away from me is getting the correct speed

what 27 Gbps bandwidth capacity ???? i am from Jammu and Kashmir and here all customer from my state/ut are reporting low bandwidth issues. Some says they Have Low Upload Speeds and some have same issue as mine that is Low Download Speeds. As i complaint to B4S solutions about slow speed issue today they said that There is some backend issues and my plan (100 Mbps) hasn't been updated from backend and they asked me to wait for 1-2 days and lets see what i got in the BSNL Pandora Box. I talked to BSNL SDE 3-4 days and he asked me to do speedtest of BSNL only on Selected servers like railtel (delhi), bharti airtel india (delhi) and Act Fiber (Delhi) but speed test results got same for every server God Knows what BSNL Staff don't understand that the problem is from their servers. he takes remote assistance form Anydesk and do speedtest on Google chrome and done a Google speed test on Google chrome.. when did they understand that you are doing google speedtest from google chrome and its obvious you will get fake better speed than i asked him to do same test on Internet Explorer and then result is totally opposite from Google speed test on google chrome. then he said ok we will look into the matter. if u doing google speed test from Google Chrome .... Plz Dont do this !!!
