Hi all,

Please bear with me its gonna be a long post.

It started off when I bought the monitor (Source
) sold by StorazeBiz and not Amazon.

Things started to go downhill
  1. Ordered on 25th September 2020, delivered on September 29th the box was damaged from one side, I thought it won't be a big deal, unboxed it just to find that the monitor screen was completely cracked. Filed for a replacement on 29th itself.
  2. The replacement arrived on 4th October, the box was damaged at the same spot as the previous box, I knew that the same thing happened again. This time I knew what was gonna happen hence I recorded the whole process from taking delivery to unboxing the product (did it the first time also, since I have heard stories about this happening with delicate items).
  3. Filed for a return on 4th October, but I am still waiting for the return order to be picked up (as of 15th October 2020). Every day its the same deal that no one calls or shows up, I then call the customer care but they just reschedule the pickup for the next day and apologize for the inconvenience caused. The pickup has been canceled 6 times.
  4. On 5th October I found the same monitor but this time it was being sold by Appario Retail Pvt Ltd, I immediately placed the order, this arrived on 6th October and the box was one piece without any damage whatsoever. I still have the old damaged product waiting to be picked up.

Attaching a few images of the damaged goods. Will keep updating with the progress of the return.

Go file a complaint on national consumer helpline to get it sorted out, this happened with me once and it seems that Amazon is cheating customers with regards to pickups of costly items. I got it sorted out by filing the complaint on national consumer helpline

It seems the seller is a third party one. We cannot fully trust their packing return policies etc . I myself ordered a samsung monitor from Amazon but the seller was appario which is Amazon own seller. I got the product without any damage to the package or to the product

After numerous calls, and at least 4 calls just today itself, I got a callback from Amazon saying they have initiated a refund, since it has been long without any progress on the pickup side, the refund should be processed within 3-5 working days. Lets see.

This has happened in past with me, they initiated refund because of delay in pickup. The refund will be issued but the product will eventually get picked up in few days.

That's still better since I won't have to chase them for pickup/refund. Gets one thing off my head to worry about.

Damn, thought it was a joke, did a bit of research (google 🙂). The email is actually legit. Will remember it for future problems.
Thanks

bill gates, steve jobs and many other billionaires have had public email ids for decades. and they actually responded to some emails sent to these ids.

I just want to say that this broken monitor looks like a peace of modern art
Damm.. You stole words from my mouth. How rude.. 😛😛
@achaudhary997 Amazon is much better when it comes to refund or returns. I had a refund pending with Amazon for more than a month. I called them up and they transferred it immediately.
Flipkart will take you for a ride when it comes to returns and refund. Got a Sony earphone, didn't fit my ears, asked for return, not allowed. Called cc, the girl said no, gave her a piece of me, went to twitter and ranted. Got a call from Banglore head office who really sounded a lot professional in dealing with grievances. Told him my problem, he politely raised a return with refund.
Moral of story.. Look at the rating of those sellers, that's your first indicator.
Get it from an amazon certified seller. It may cost a bit more but considering the hassles one may go through for after sales, it's worth paying a little extra.

On a lighter note... If amazon doesn't come to pick up you can auction it. I am pretty sure M F Hussain will be interested in your art. More than paisa vasool😛

Just wanted to share a positive experience, ordered a monitor with Appario as the seller, received it well packed and intact.

Also, ordered a TP-Link Smart Gigabit POE switch priced around 7k sold by Appario. Received a fast Ethernet non smart POE switch worth about 3k. Spoke to customer care and they simply refunded the payment and I got to keep the incorrect model that I received as well. 😁😁 The listing I ordered was marked as non returnable, probably why the direct refund without return. 😁 I ain't complaining.
