I have a 100Mbps plan. When I check speed on Ethernet, I get almost 100Mbps consistent. But when I switch to Wi-Fi and check speed, its mostly 35 to 45Mbps. I know speeds are slower on wireless but I am pretty sure there can't be a more than 50Mbps speed difference even LCO said that I should be getting around 70 to 80. He said it's a problem from the exchange that since I recently changed my plan, they haven't changed speed on profile or something... but it's been more than a week since I have changed the plan. The LCO came yesterday to check the hardware and said nothing was wrong and the thing about profile. I don't think that it's something from the exchange. Any idea what I can do to fix this or check?

@vishalrao i was right next to router

Not a proper solution BUT still.connect computer via Ethernet cable.make hotspot on computer . if your wireless devices support 150mbps link speed you should get speeds >50-75mbps.

72 on all devices, so that might be it but is there any way to fix it?
Most old devices have channel bonding disabled by default. If you have root, you can enable channel bonding on those. Custom roms already enable it. That'll help it reach 150mbps. Even if you have 150mbps link speed, actual data transfer would 70-80 max.

Btw check your wifi security settings make sure it's either wpa2 or wpa2 mixed, 802.11 mode should g/n or n. I won't blame the router yet, I have the same one with a Netlink logo and it can do 150 easily. There are new firmwares for Syrotech here FTTH Facilitation Center

What i do is I was having a tenda f3 as spare... And my Netlink ONU wifi barely gives me download speed of 50-60 mbps... So i just connected the lan of netlink ONU to wan of Tenda f3 , my tenda f3 automatically selects the best available settings according to my speed of the internet and no need to bridge or do anything. and now i just disabled the wifi on my netlink ONU. My tenda f3 is giving me speeds of 92-100 mbps ( sometimes bsnl is slow so i get slower speeds , other times it good.)

I am not sure what you are referring to as old( router or my devices) if you mean router, please explain how to enable channel bonding and if you mean my devices, then I am pretty sure you are incorrect as my devices are very new.

@Xtinction I meant the devices. My Redmi Note 5 gets 72mbps max on its stock rom. With a custom rom with channel bonding enabled it gets 150mbps, verified from the modem as well. Where as a Note 7 here can get 150mbps on the stock rom itself. So it was disabled on the old one.

I'm not sure how to enable it other than using a rom with that enabled. There are magisk modules for that as well. You'd need an unlocked bootloader and root.

Edit: see if a laptop or something can get above 72mbps on your wifi, if it can its not the router, it's your phone. Guess some newer phones also ship with it disabled.

What do you mean "all your devices can go to 150" ? Are they branded as 150 mbps speeds? Then that is just a marketing trick, I have a 150 mbps TP-Link wifi PC add-in card that gives me max 72 mbps link speeds and around 70 mbps speeds right next to my router 😀
U can change dat to 150 in network adapter settings

Wifi AP included with Fiber modem is next to crap. If you need a better Wifi Speed, invest in a good WiFi router. I have a Asus RT-AC68U hooked up to my bsnl ffth. I am getting full speed in 5GHz and around 95Mbps in 2.4GHz
