Apple iPhone 12

@Nishant iPad charger is 12w 2.4A, no QC tech. iPhones do 2.4A max on USB - A, and personally seen it go up to 26w with USB - C PD (confirmed with jailbreak) on Xs Max. Must be higher on newer devices.

Yeah, you're right. I recollect now that Apple iPad USB-A power brick is 2.4A. USB-C PD can go much higher, no doubt.

I also wonder if lightening port would save the phone in case it's connected with a shitty usbc charger.

The lightning port does have it's own circuitry which should protect it.

Whatever happened to Mobile operators offering iPhone with monthly subscriptions to their plans? At that time it looked stupid but given the current pricing, that scheme would work better now?

Yea, seen this video. They seem to be really tagging the components with serials so that they can be replaced, repaired only at Apple. No chance for 3rd party repair.
Recent decisions does make me wonder whether iPhones are really the phones to go for in future.

There will be tools which will copy this specific data from old part to the new part like the Chinese guys created for last gen iPhones. But that will not be available to everyone and to every individual.
