I have a Jio prepaid SIM which I primarily used in my Jiofi and used to recharge occasionally. After lockdown, I came to my HomeTown and took broadband. So, I have stopped recharging it altogether. Now, I get calls from the Jio Store guy I bought the SIM from (visited him only once while buying the SIM), the Jio Store guy at my hometown (I've never visited him), and the Jio Store guy nearest to my college hostel (never visited either) where I used to stay for the last couple of years. When I switched off my SIM, I started getting calls on my alternate number (Airtel) registered with Jio.WTH is this!!!! This is clearly SPAMMING!!! Jio is also pulling up my historical location data (mind you I left the hostel before lockdown started) based on my SIM location. These people, as they say, have been tasked with calling up people. My number is showing up on their app or something!!! How dare Jio violate my privacy, left right and center. I am thinking of registering DND complaint against them in the future. What do you suggest?
