Jio Fiber harrassment for recharge

My Jio Fiber free trial expired on the 8th of October. I haven't recharged yet but will be recharging in November. From about 5 days before the expiry of the trial period I had started receiving 5-6 Reminder Calls for recharge. I have since activated DND by calling on 1909 and those calls have stopped.

But I still keep receiving an SMS that my recharge request is in process with an OTP and a contact number of an agent. I have already spoken to one and told him that I haven't placed any such request and I will be recharging on my own using MyJio App. However I keep receiving a new SMS with a new OTP and a new agent everyday.
So my question is am I receiving these messages and calls only because I havnt recharged even once post my free trial or will I be harrassed whenever I don't recharge?

If you don't want to use it, cancel and return their devices.
I stopped using Airtel dth last year after they increased from 380 to 800. still they send messages and calls occasionally .
i block the number each time they call with new number.
when we taken their devices for 500 for ont/ 1000 for ont & Stb. They will call like that .
Due to first month they are calling like that, you are a new customer.
I didn't got any calls. I didn't recharged for 15 days, recharged 2 days back

I am often out of town and would normally recharge in alternate months. Jio says that I have to recharge at least once every 90 days.
Thankfully after activating DND they don't call 10 times a day else I would have definitely surrendered my connection.

@Rc11 90 days thing is crap, Got Jio fiber installation done in Oct "2019" and used it till feb 21, 2020. Never recharged after feb this year until sep 5, 2020. Did receive few calls in between just before new plans launched and randomly, but not on daily basis.

DEN still messages me about offers even though I disconnected almost a year ago 😛 Calls are gone atleast, they kept calling me for a month even after returning the modem.

Have a Jio fiber connection since march 2019 and haven’t recharged since the time they started paid services. Never received a single call or sms asking to recharge.

I did not recharge my Jio SIM after I came to my HomeTown during lockdown. Every month, I receive calls from Jio store people, once from the place I bought the sim, once from the Jio store near my hostel where I used to stay, once from the Jio store in my hometown. When I switched off the Jio sim for good, I started receiving calls on my alternate number from Jio. Jio is crap. Like, seriously!!!!! Wtf!!!! This is a prepaid SIM!!!!!! I just think I will raise DND complaints against these numbers from now on. This is SPAM and unethical. It's also violation of my privacy, they are tracking down my SIM location historically!!!!!!
