I used to have powernet 2 years ago. Stable internet but the peering was not good. Unlike other isps it is completely dependent on single Tata uplink which is a good thing and provides little benefit in terms of latency and routing.
They have this policy to provide fiber to the LCO in a ring fashion thus I faced little to no down times. I stopped using it as it started having frequent disconnection around 2018 december and I wanted to try a new isp. Before december it was really good. The bandwidth has increased from 10gbps to 200gbps since then as shown on peeringdb. I think things would have improved.

I don't have speedtests but as far as I remember SG 90%, UK 80-90%, US 70-90% of your plan.

Good to know, they also have a IPv6 Prefix. I don't think they deploy it yet but even having an IPv6 Prefix is good.

They seem to be on Extreme IX. I have done some traceroutes to some IPs on their network and its going through Extreme IX.

I'm gonna try it out in a few weeks.

They provide ipv6 prefixes to corporate. I don't completely understand how extremeix port works. Excitel which is totally dependent on extremeix peers extremely well and so does tripleplay while other ones like Pnpl, powernet, ani although connected don't peer well.

@JB701 yup u are right extreme peering or extreme ix is created by Excitel. Both Excitel and Extreme peering/IX are bulgarian venture in India's broadband market. In start even their board members were same. Later on when both companies grew, new companies were registered like excitel changed to excitel broadband pvt ltd. i posted my review back in 2016 where i posted all this but unfortunately it is gone from here due to some issue. But how u know they are first member on their interface

No u are right in starting i remember both excitel and extreme peering has same adjoining address at lajpat nagar, delhi. Even few board memebers were common for both companies. Only thing is extreme peering was set up few years before excitel and excitel existed in 2015. @NikolaiGorchilov is the man behind extreme peering he was here few years back. https://broadband.forum/m/55282/#about

And i think(not sure) one of founding members was/is on ibf too.

@igloo he was, i posted his profile link, he is the same person u are thinking

some speedtests on 300Mbps plan. Kinda disappointing.

why straightaway 300mbps plan when u are trying a new isp, just asking.

I will try one local isp as primary once my excitel expires just to see if there is any real world difference for my use case scenario. Although i will take their minimum speed plan
