Firstly this is for people who have old DVR which does not support Platform access, hence for Live view static IP with port forwarding was required.
Basically most of people are inside CG-NAT or do not have open ports for old DVR to work online.
Since behind CG-NAT one cannot access their network from outside, But from inside we can open Ephemeral port to communicate to outside networks.
So old DVR did not have this facility for Ephemeral port.
Platform access is basically HikVision's DDNS which open Ephemeral port from inside (I mean from DVR) so that we can get live view even without static IP Or port forwarding.
After lot of searching I came across this legit method for updating firmware for older Hik DVR's to latest one which supports platform access.
Indian website for HikVision do not have firmware to download. But some year ago they used to have open FTP server where anyone could download firmware from it but now they changed the the password for it. Hence writing mail is best option to get legit Indian version firmware.

Get latest firmware:

Mail support@pramahikvision.com and ask them to send latest firmware for our DVR
Given them your DVR model number and current firmware version in mail.

After couple of hours you will get reply. They will ask your Team viewer 12 ID and password, Idk why but they don't directly mail you the firmware instead they transfer using team Viewer.
Again mail them out Team Viewer ID pass then after some time they take access and transfer the firmware.

Note: Some important points to note

1. Never download firmware from Hikvision US or Europe or any other website, cause its directly available there but you may end up with bricked DVR
2. Also this firmware updates are in order, I mean you can't skip directly to latest, instead to need to updates all intermediate versions also. e.g.: lets say you are on 3.1 and the latest one is 3.5, hence you need to update in order from 3.2,... so on to 3.5. In this case don't worry they will send you all intermediate version's which are required.

The sad part is for this the person who installed asked me to pay 600₹

Thanks I am glad you liked it. I am sorry to hear that person asked you to pay. For my case it was done for free and chap who transferred me the firmware was good and answered all my technical queries.
