Since the last two months I have noticed that I am not getting Carrier Aggregation on Airtel Postpaid on Band 40 on my Redmi K20 Pro.
Earlier I used to get 40 Mbps and above with CA.
Since August I am not getting CA and speeds seem to be capped at 15 Mbps. I feel Airtel is throttling the speeds on Airtel Postpaid.
Has anyone experienced the same?
Are you guys getting CA and good speeds on Airtel?
Also is there any way to lock certain LTE bands via Engineering Mode on K20 Pro like in OnePlus devices without actually rooting the device?

Sorry for the naive question.. How do you check if you are getting CA on your handset? I am using Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ on Airtel

Yes airtel disabled ca most places. But very rarely I am getting 2ca in my location

Damn.. Forget about 4G+, its even struggling to stay at 4G. Didn't notice this for quite lately as I was on Wifi most of the time
Here is my speedtest result done just now.. too bad
This is the same issues I am facing when i move a little it suddenly latches to 2g and stays there

In Airtel I am also not getting CA. Vi is CA ready network and gives good speeds and their CA is stable than jio’s CA.

In Redmi K20 pro you can lock the band and see CA by rooting your device and downloading Network Signal Guru in your phone.Select only band 40 as redmi K20 pro support 40A.

Airtel 4g subscribers are increasing at a rapid rate so they are disabling CA to save on bandwidth so that new users can come into the network.

In CA I think if you use 2CA then you get more bandwidth and more speed so the areas in which they are many 4g subscribers they are disabling CA. As in 2CA the towers has registered as two people while in 3CA the tower registers you as three people. So if they remove CA so they can provide the same band width to more people without buying additional spectrum capacity and thereby reducing congestion.
