Jammu & Kashmir: BSNL Bharat Fiber New Plans (30/100/200/300mbps)

@ironmannn Well there is something weird happening here because you reside in Bishnah and as per official District Jammu website you should have 0191 as your STD code (STD & PIN Codes | District Jammu | India) but yours is 01923 which belongs to Samba.

Yeah that's an issue since ages. I don't know the reason behind it. Maybe Bari Brahmana exchange (that falls in Samba district) is near from this location and therefore, they provide services in Bishnah.

An update, i tried changing plan of my friend (Voice activated), everything went smooth and request was accepted. Will try again and update this thread.
 
I can't even see Fiber BB. 🙁
Just now i added my friends account and it was reflected instantly.
Can't say why yours is not showing up. Maybe try changing the associated mobile number or update the email ID by going to nearby BSNL office.
 
Well BSNL Selfcare portal is a magical place because i just logged in and my landline account was removed from it and when i try to add it again it states "There is no such customer registered with us".😕
 
Indeed it is a magical place. Just changed my friends plan but while changing mine, it is showing an error. 😛
 


@CHOPSHOT account not registered is shown for initial 15-20 days as well when i took new account. @ironmannn try calling toll free no. 1504 at end , they may be able to change plan now as it’s available on portal, else you need to visit any nearest exchange . If you have contact of Lco/ from where you got connection just call him , they can do from their end as well.
 
@Tenet I've had this connection since January and all this time it showed on Selfcare it just got removed now out of the blue, maybe they are updating something on their end.
 
@CHOPSHOT i had asked question regarding wifi link speed , if hardware/software of a device can limit max wifi speed on a device and whether a dual band router will be of any help if xiaomi devices are showing link of 72 Mbps only . Any idea or you are also unsure?
For laptop I think we can change from properties, not sure if there is any quick way for mobile phones, what if i get a router support 850plus Mbps , but my device supporting 72 only , not sure if link speed in that case will improve.

My BB account also disappeared from Selfcare magically and now i'm only left with Voice account, btw i just check Selfcare and my BB account is still not showing up.
 
Mine have 2 connections. one shows perfectly with voice and bb and the other doesn't. one is of my shop and one of home.

i have sent a letter to my vendor as per our tele conv and he will forward that to bsnl to get my plan changed, he said shd be done by monday.
