What is the point of migrating to these plans? I called customer care, they said after 29th december, you will be shifted back to old plan or 777 50mbps 500 gb if new connection

It's pretty clear that's not going to happen. Jio would keep expanding availability. And bsnl would have no choice but to keep these plans. Wired broadband prices are not going up for a few years. Until jio kills all the small and mid sized operators.

for those who opted for these new plans, what will happen after 90days (Dec 29) ?? Will they moved to other plans ? Like they did for 777plan to 849 plan. ?? Any ideas ?

From my previous experience those who opted the new plans within the promotional time period can continue the plans.

after 29th Dec...it can be any of the below options
1. All the existing plans are extended
2. All the existing plans are extended and it will be available in more SSAs
3. New Plans might be launched (all depends on Jio/Airtel)

One thing is for sure...they way Jio/Airtel are expanding and BSNL loosing wired broadband market.
BSNL need to be competitive if they want to survive

I wouldnt trust Jio to give plans forever, they like to steal all of the market and then raise prices. They are just trying to kill the competition, will be lucky if there are more than Jio and Airtel within few years with mobile networks in India

It is already the case. Jio and Airtel are the de facto primary choices for most people's SIM 1 and SIM 2, respectively.

They way I see it...Jio can keep giving this plan for near future...as consumer you think that services are cheap....but we fail to look at bigger picture
1. With such plans Jio is expanding its coverage indoors(you pay for electricity)😂
2. You have no control on the router, Jio broadcast hidden SSID..future use many (WiFI calling supporting all the IoT devices ), you won't even know if neighbours Jio IoT works off your Jio Router in future
3. The massive data control and ecosystem they gets to build...you start with lower plan then you take there OOT apps then start using more and more of der services...and then cross selling all the customers...
Believe me...he can continue giving you free mobile /FTTH internet and will still make money off other business using your data or assisting you in buying his other services

Both 1 and 2 will happen if they get a favourable response to the existing plans. Else, plans would be discontinued and the previous plans would come into place.
