Firmwares for BSNL Bharat Fiber ONT/ONU/OLT

@AlphaFolker I just got rid of that ont , how's the firmware any improvement?

@nani Check the version code, it's a date. 200226 in yy-mm-dd is 26 Feb 2020.

There is an optilink fw from sep here - FTTH Facilitation Center

Not sure what version though.
hi
look at below link

and version you mentioned is 1.0.xxxx
what is ther in link is 1.1.xxxx

i think this is full firmware => XONT71110N_OPTILINK_BSNL_1_1.0.24-200226.tar
other one is upgrade??

Something kind of interesting

MD5 values of the 1.0.35 from BSNL: HG323RW_all_1.0.35-200623_NetlinkBsnl_en.tar

MD5 values of the 1.0.35 @ps111193 got from vsol support : HG323RW_all_1.0.35-200623_NormalSafeProtect_en.tar

Maybe it's the Netlink logo 😛, fwu.sh has just two blank lines removed. I almost hoped they did some BSNL "optimization".
No it is Upgraded Some Firewall And Prevent Malware attack and The Firmware is Produced by Netlink Not Bsnl

@AgeOfAquarius Of course BSNL doesn't make firmwares, I'm not sure Netlink does major changes to their firmwares, their firmwares are interchangeable. They just take the VSOL ones and rebrand them. I could be wrong, only someone at Netlink can prove otherwise.

Wow they need you to register to download firmwares.

"Approved by BSNL for its security." Right.

There are no upgrade and full firmwares afaik. All are full firmwares. You can flash any.

Netlink's latest 1.0.35 on their official website won't let you downgrade to any of the generic VSOL fw's.
You need to go back to Netlink's own old 1.0.35 (HG323RW_all_1.0.35-200623_NetlinkBsnl_en.tar, available here) and then you can flash any vsol ones.

They're starting to remove features from their own firmwares like logging, so if you want it, stay away from the netlink ones.
