Help me decide between JioFiber, Airtel & Excitel.

If even Excitel Fiber is not available at your location, then there is no point comparing Excitel Ethernet to JioFiber.Stick to Jio.
Jio would meet all your requirements that you mentioned in the opening post. You can use third party apps for the DVR.
What apps are you referring to? and also so you are aware of info regarding DVR issues with Jio?cuz I'm not sure.

also, yes Excitel Fiber is available at my place.

Yea... so I've decided, since it's gonna take a long time for Airtel FTTH to come to my place, I live in Kirti Nagar(west Delhi) as told my the Airtel's Technician, I'll continue with Excitel or jio.

As of now, I've already paid for the next 4 months for Excitel, tho I might get it upgraded to Ftth.
and I'll see how Jio works in the trial period, or I'll go with jio only.

also Guys I would appreciate if you could tell in detail, why people don't prefer Jio Broadband. I mean their Fiber is working fine for me.. although I'm not sure about DVR as of now, cuz I guess my RJ 45 connector has an issue.

Don't know about Excitel, but between Jio and Airtel ...please take Airtel if possible. (Mainly due to they way RIL is trying to control everything)

Some of the cons

  1. He likes to control every damn thing on his network(closed atmosphere)
  2. Deep Packet Inspection is done as reported on this forum
  3. The Jio STB doesnt have NDTV , this will altogether lead to Politics so ....
  4. He is a very nasty fellow (cheapo) @Sushubh can elaborate this
  5. You pay every rupee with your wallet and then you get Blocked sites ...ofcourse there are less now(Twitch) , you may get more blocked sites in future
  6. No bridging for your router
  7. NAT rules are not good (no personal experience)
  8. As customers start increasing , individual customer attention gets diluted in Jio
As Excitel does not offer a fancy UI and apps for your end user experience , but it is as free and open as you like . Static IP is available
If you still want points , then browse the Jiofiber thread , you will have an idea

@shashankb most of your points are vague and don’t really mean anything. Now please don’t call me pro reliance or pro Jio but you have to be clearer. As a customer, I don’t care about personal qualities or political affiliations of Ambani or whoever, and a big part of the anti Jio rhetoric among many people seems to be emotional rather than technical. No company is saintly here and every single company is looking to maximise profit. Our national PSU BSNL is injecting ads, launching plans only in areas with competition and so on. So don’t judge companies on ethics but purely on what you’re getting vis a vis others. So according to me, here are the cons of Jio:
1. Blocking. It’s not a huge problem in terms of how it affects users directly, but the in principle violation of net neutrality is completely unacceptable to me. Although Twitch is the only example I know, but the point is, we need not go into the severity of the problem, i.e. the number of sites blocked and how frequently, but the principle itself.
2. CGNAT. This will not affect most people, so users can decide on their own, but a point that should be highlighted and explained. This affects me though.
3. Bridge mode. Again not applicable to most users. And since CGNAT is already there, bridging will not have many benefits anyway, in this case.

Pros:
1. Good uptime and QoS. Speeds to international servers are full plans speeds all the time. No peak time drop in quality or whatsoever.
2. Pings are pretty good in games to Singapore servers, don’t know why Jio’s routing is considered terrible. It may not be best but it’s pretty decent. See Airtel’s threads, people are complaining about pings being bad since 2 months.
3. Prepaid. Can easily put it in hibernation when not in use, this makes it a really good backup option.

This has been my experience during one month, but I’ve also got reviews from neighbors who have been using it since preview offer days and vouch for reliability, no downtimes at all they said.

@Gaurav15 I agree with you !! The Basic things work very fine with Jio . Jio is not completely neutral and open as it should be .(again no ISP is perfect as u said) That was the point I wanted to justify. Pardon me if it hurted you

But I still think Airtel Fiber is a very good all rounder if they get their ping issue right. What do you think ?
