this is to inform you that as per the confirmation received from the concern team the highlighted concern regarding high ping will be resolved after installation of BRAS server for your location and the team is already working on the same. As per team confirmation the server will be installed latest by 7th July 2021.

What is BRAS server
 
A broadband remote access server routes traffic to and from broadband remote access devices such as digital subscriber line access multiplexers on an Internet service provider's network. BRAS can also be referred to as a broadband network gateway or border network gateway.
 
Thanks bro.. I’ve raised many ping complaints to them if they don’t shift my gateway then I’m switching to jio. jio gives 90-100ms ping in warzone whereas airtel gives 140 sometimes 350ms.
 
@Prem deep I think jio fixed their routing very recently because I tried jio back in April-May and the pings were similar to airtel and 90-100ms on warzone is what I would accept for Singapore.
 
Fingers crossed but can't trust these retards no matter what they say we all can agree on that even if it comes from an official mail 🙂 btw if whatever this server is called is installed will we be getting better ping than the pings from Kolkata server ?
 
why do you think it's not authentic? maybe airtel started using this for internet related complaints. 121 is general complaint which caters to mobile services as well. i mean i am seeing this id for the first time myself so i am curious how the op got access to it. was it used to reply to a complaint filed through 121?
