Few questions regarding JIO new connection.

1. Since first month for the new connections will be free (150Mbps free plan with OTT access), do we get to choose the next month paid plan after completion of free month or do we have to pay for the paid plan we want at the time of new connection and this paid plan will be in queue and will get activated after free month??

2. We need to have 999/- plan and above if we want STB, right?? But what if I paid the 2500 security deposit needed for router+STB and then later choose 399 plan after free month is over? Can I do that?

3. What if I choose the 399 plan during new connection, they will only provide me router (NO STB) against 1500 security, right?? But what if I want to change my plan to 999 after a month or two? Will they come back to provide me STB and take Rs 1000 more as security deposit?

4. Out of total 2500 security deposit, only 1500 is refundable, right?

1. After. You don't have to pay during installation, You can pay later whenever you want.
2. Yes. STB will work, you can either watch free content or subscribe to apps that you want on your own
3. No idea whether you can get or return STB after installation, talk to customer care
4. Yes. But if you return it within 30 days, full amount is refundable.

Jio has commercial usage policy upto 3300 gb on all plans except gigabit plans. So yu can use upto 3tb data in a month. There is no such condition or mandatory plan for jio stb.only ott apps are paid which yu can subscribe as per yur need.while yu can use stb to watch stb YouTube even on 399 plan.and other free apps
