Adsl router as wifi range extender

I have D-Link 2730U Adsl+ router and i want to use it as wifi range extender with Bsnl ftth Ont(Syrtotech G/EPON-ONU)

you cannot use it as a repeater. just as an access point.

Turn off the DHCP on your router and connect the LAN output of your other router to the LAN port of your 2730U. Make sure you make all the settings of Wifi, etc. on your 2730U before turning off the DHCP. It might be difficult or impossible to access the configuration page of your 2730U afterwards.

@codwapeace the suggested procedure is to use as AP not repeater.
