How to get a PVC Aadhaar Card for Rs. 50 from UIDAI?

I didn't get any number or any other form of intimation. I only knew it comes by speed post & it did. Also it could be made anywhere in the country not necessarily the closest manufacturing outlet.

@mikrotik Quality check failure perhaps? Try placing another order.

If the failure was QC then they could have got it printed again
Looks like this is happening a lot these days. Saw a video on youtube about this error started occurring recently.

Looks like they have suspended the service?

Was helping some relatives with ordering their PVC Aadhar. Three went thru smoothly, payment for 2 were netbanking & one via UPI. The fourth one went thru but after the payment was made successfully it just auto logged out, so I could not download the receipt. We dont even know if it was successful at the UIDAI end. Though the site looks refreshed, it still retains its old tricks which we all faced in the last two years🙁😡

I have friends who have ordered 2. One to carry on their person when they are traveling & the second is kept at home as a backup.🤔🥴

People applying now are actually getting sms from UIDAI & India post with tracking info. Seems they are better organized now as compared to last year.

Can someone confirm if the PVC aadhaar does NOT contain Post office details in the address while e-aadhaar does?

PVC aadhaar is only the bottom part of the actual long aadhaar card. It will only have the permanent address.

Nop, just verified post office name is printed on e-aadhaar while it is omitted from the PVC card. Check yours...

Checked all 4 PVC aadhaar cards in my family before posting here. All of them have full permanent address printed on the back side.

Exactly looks like below sample.

E-Aadhaar has the exact same address mentioned as in physical aadhaar i.e. full permanent address.

Mine has the post office name too. Never really understood why. This becomes a major hassle when using this as an address proof.

My e-aadhaar has post office name while PVC does not. This actually suits me because post office name creates unnecessary confusion. Because post office is not in my sector. Hence in the address, 2 sector names are present which is a big hassle.
