HELP.
I have DBC XPON BC-1000B-HGX ( non wifi model ) which has to be connected with a wifi router which has WAN port. ( TP-Link or ZXZEL )

How to configure router & How to setup DBC . I have got username & PW from Rail wire .
Kindly share the steps . Thanks

I don't know about the configuration of the ONU but I can help you with the router setup.
In the router setup, first set the mode as Router, then in the connection select PPPoE as the connection type and in that you can enter the Username and password provided my Railwire. That should get the Internet to work.
If you face you can directly talk to the LCO to help you, I got mine setup by the LCO himself but I have reset the Router several times after that.

A question, Your profile says BSNL as your ISP. Could you please tell the reason for switching to Railwire ?

Thanks a lot. My Zyzel nbg418n is not getting detected by my laptop wifi even after resetting ( any reason?) so i got to try with TP-Link MR3040 which has WAN port . It has AP & WISP port. Any pointers for me to get this done . ( NOTE - Reg BSNL to RAILWIRE ...Railwire FUP is better as of now )

Option 1 - Set your ONU in bridge mode. Connect it to TP-Link's WAN port. Set TP link in pppoe mode and enter the railwire details. Connect.
Option 2 - Leave ONU in pppoe mode. Connect it to TP Link's WAN port. Choose dynamic ip under internet, in TP link. Connect.

Thanks KRUSNLK. See my ONU is DBC XPON BC-1000B-HGX . How to set that in bridge mode .

Login to your ONU and change it to bridge from pppoe. Then connect the ONU's LAN port to TP-Link's WAN port. Now login to TP Link and set the internet mode as pppoe and enter the Railwire details.

@kRuSnIk bro in the picture above, there's no wifi antenna in the ONU. I think it's just a ONU not a router. So maybe no need to go for the bridge mode and simply connect the LAN to WAN of router and do the PPPoE settings.

able to login to Railwire ( DBC XPON BC-1000B-HGX ) thro my Router BEETEL 450TC3 . But not getting CONNECTED to NET . Screenshot attached . any error in this . Thanks

Check if your login is being registered in the Railwire portal. If yes, then maybe IP address is not being assigned to the devices on your network.

"then maybe IP address is not being assigned to the devices on your network"- What should be done for this.

is my setting right . what about VLAN ID & 802.1p ID .

THANKS.
