BSNL ftth fiber connector change

I have ordered genexis ont (supports APC) I already have a BSNL connection (with UPC ) port and want to get it changed to APC , anyone has any idea about charges involved or it's free ?
 
which ONT did you get and from where?
 
Oh, I am waiting for platinum 4410 from multilinkonline.com (I have asked about some kind of hybrid adapter like SC/UPC female to SC/APC Male to them).

About the connector, what I can gather from the internet is it should connect to SC/APC with some signal loss.

has blue connector(usually blue = SC/UPC and green = SC/APC) for the fiber and seems to work well.
 
Instead of adapters I would rather prefer getting fiber spliced again for APC connector
