Hi,
I have an ACT company provided TP-Link Archer AC1200. The router was given by the company in 2018 when I subscribed to their annual plan. Of late I have been facing a frustrating random rebooting issue with the router. After about 15 minutes of operation, the router randomly reboots. I have tried changing the adapter, but to no avail. My only option is to factory reset the router, but I don't know how much that will help.

I tried reaching out to ACT, but they cannot replace the router since it comes with a year's warranty and I am not on an annual or 6 month package anymore.

I do not want to switch to the 6 month or annual package since I am hoping for a tariff revision in ACT plans keeping in view the competition or I'll switch ISPs.

So, now I am looking for a new Gigabit router and I found Tenda AC10 as one of the viable options.

It'd be great if the good members here could suggest a good gigabit router. Any help would be much appreciated!

A reboot of router usually occurs when it is not able handle many number of devices or is heating up above the max threshold...Check if there is something in the air vents of your router and consider blowing it once with a vaccuum. If nothing works ...try a different Firmware and see how it goes

Archer A6/C6 is a gigabit router and is also a good choice. Cheaper too.
Sweet. I'll check them out.

@shashankb Thanks, I'll try doing that. The last firmware update was in 2018 and I tried to install a beta version, but it doesn't load. Sadly there is no DDWRT for this model. I'll try using a blower on the router and seeing if it helps. It was working perfectly till about 5 days ago.
