Airtel Broadband IPv6 Deployment Status

While I like the connection stability, uptime of airtel BB(even at premium price over other providers),
super lost, clueless on why airtel BB is still running with no Ipv6 after many years of V6 adaption by Internet.
Was future dream 15 years ago and still a dream🙄🙄

It's so sad they are still not enabling V6 on BB, and when I raised complaint, representative claimed that am the first one asking for V6 - unbelievable and no ETA to enable.
Market is competitive, there are multiple other providers gives V6 functionality, I can choose to switch.

I do see IPv6 getting assigned on my BB connection..(connection taken Dec start 2020)
Although I feel those are private IPs and not public

Unless there is public routable address and able to access V6 endpoints natively, V6 is not working.
Airtel rep. mentioned their infra does not support at the moment- which is weird.

Is the airtel broadband still with ipv4? I believe even bsnl have enabled it on most of the location in kerala.
Have someone fiddled with the settings in router to try enable this.
I even observed, airtel mobile is not showing ipv6 address. Whereas jio/vodafone it is enabled by default.
Even though airtel was one of the earliest to start ipv6 deployment, they don't seem to be interested anymore.

Can someone share if they have ipv6 enabled on their airtel broadband connection in any location now.

@rahravee IPv6 on Airtel 4G works after enabling IPv4/IPv6 option in APN settings. As for Airtel Fiber I have no idea maybe they are using very old equipment for routing which are not IPv6 capable.
