Dead cheap router for running DD-WRT/Open-Wrt

Yeah , I forgot about that . it is capable of 5Ghz Dual Band on Wifi right . though as a future proof idea , looks like I will buy a Archer C6 only

Does Netgear offer any good ones in the price range of C6 ?
 
Actually I need to run a WLAN setup with custom settings for separate devices and monitor them . As lockdown started , I am just running on ONT and that seems to be tampering the Wifi experience

For example - DD-WRT gives an option to increase Tx value of the Wifi
 
@shashankb Most modern router firmware support what you need. I would suggest to go for openwrt only if you want to try it out as fun project. Else its a hassle. All cheap routers have very minimal RAM/ROM, you cant install and use all features. The router would reboot/freeze if the features of openwrt/ddwrt which you want to try overloads the host. The router might run on high I/O and CPU.
Also increasing tx value will not help if the h/w has already reached its threshold.
 
There exists one though D-Link DIR 615 ..have you seen that?

Netgear tends to be costlier always.... american vs chinese
All the research I have till date points to just C6 in that kindda budget
