@igloo It's been only like 15 days since i opened the savings account, so how am i getting the offer lol. I saw it 2 days after, opening the account.

Choose the HDFC Bank customer option and login through the above form. If there are any pre-approved cards, it'll show up there.

@Nitin, Is yours a preferred savings account? if it is, then as part of your benefits as a preferred account holder , you can get a premium credit card.
For this, no income documentation is required. You will get a basic credit limit between Rs 2-5 lakhs. For any increase in credit limit, you will have to submit income documents....

In that case, just take it if it is offered, Always remember to pay bills in full, so you do not incur any interest charges, and also your credit score
gets a boost with responsible use of the credit card...
 
@icecool20 I don't think they will accept the application because the account is still new, don't have income proof, if asked and no cibil score.
 

You may see it 'in process' even after you have your card in your hand.
It has happened so many times, I will receive sms of card dispatch after it has been delivered.
 
Okay maybe I can give some info. I got various calls from the bank for pre approved credit cards, and from the hdfc portal also. I always told them to contact me once regelia is there for my account. About a month after my first salary got credit I got a call saying regelia is pre approved for lifetime free credit card. I applied for it online, since it was pre approvee, got virtual credit card details withing 1 hour of applying via e mail. Normal cc arrived within 3 days.

Also I was informed that regelia first is being decommissioned and people will recieve regelia as a replacement if they have a card.

Edit: Diners club was also available but it was only first year free. Even though the card is great I don't think I will like to pay the 10k fee/year since I won't be spending that much to get my next year free.

I have a Regalia First card and this is news to me. Any source for this which they can provide?
 
Sorry, it was over a call when I asked him to confirm if it was a regelia and not a regelia first. This is what the guy told me that they are on their way to decommission regelia first (not taking new application) and replace the old cards.
I tried looking for source but nothing is there on the website about it.
 
They are not taking fresh applications for Regalia First however they are still issuing them. I just got my replacement last week.
