It'd be too much of hassle 😮‍💨 and I also don't have the time for that.
My HDFC regalia cc is all fine for now ig.

In my case pre-approved has always meant pre-approved.

Maybe Kotak HDFC is using this term for easy applications.

Just realised pre approved doesn't mean jack shit.

Yes, realised the same some years ago. Pre-approved card emails come but the application process is exactly like regular application, nothing pre-approved about it.

That's Uday Kotak for us.

HDFC, however, gave me pre-approved card and that meant pre-approved. Branch called me telling we have a list with your name on it, I could apply online and saw pre-approved Business MoneyBack Card, I took the offer and provided no documentation. Card was received in 7 days.

5% cashback vs 4 reward points per Rs 150 spent.

If you are not aiming for their high end cards like, DCB/Infina then you can go for Millinia. It’s indeed better than Regalia for just online shopping.

When I was 18 I remember doing 2-3 fuel transactions via their Debit card and the next day I got a call from their branch guy he gave me an offer for their IOCL Fuel Credit Card then he said sir you can also get another card for shopping etc. (I forgot it's name right now). I got it and it's just been used once since then. Anyways but I was surprised how someone who turned 18 and did some fuel transactions got the card so easily. Anyways just shared my experience with pre approved HDFC CC.

Revision in Fee structure w.e.f 1st January 2023:
For rent payments made through third-party merchants, a fee of 1% of the total transaction amount will be levied from the second rental transaction of the calendar month.
If you conduct a transaction (in-store or online) in Indian currency at an international location or with a merchant located in India but registered overseas,a dynamic & static conversion markup fee of 1 % will be charged.

Earlier international txns were charged with Markup of 3% If I am correct...
Now its reduced to 1% or is it over the already existing markup?

So... Buying on steam will be charged then? I believe they give a GST based invoice.
Paytm used to charge 4% for buying on Steam using their Debit card.

At the moment I have a regalia first card for which I am not paying any annual fee. Would that change if I upgrade?
