All most all credit cards come with Airport Lounges nowadays, and it is always completely packed, making the experience worse.

So, if this will help bring quality, then I am all for it.
I think there is a spend milestone of minimum 1L yearly to get access, it won't be difficult to reach that one.

From what I read it was 1 lakh per calendar quarter not per year. Maybe it is so for some cards. Not sure 1Lakh per quarter is easy for all.
