What is the total installation cost of Airtel Xstream internet connection?

What’s the full installation cost ( Router charge/activation charge, wiring cost etc) of new airtel broadband connection? Is there any discount in installation if I’m current local broadband user and changing to airtel?

For cities directly serviced by Airtel : only advance rental payable online - no other cost
For cities serviced through LCO : advance rental payable online AND Rs.1000 LCO commission payable in Cash
However, if not opting for advance rental, installation and router charges are payable

My relative was asked to pay installation charges 1000 online at Airtel site - Plus one month cost I think . Total around 1700 he said including tax - asked earlier today.

Which city? And what was the exact amount payable? Seems to be direct Airtel installation. As no Advance rental applied, installation charges applied.
Possible breakup -
Installation/router charges -1000, One month rental - 499, GST on 1499 - 270. Total - 1769

In mumbai. They have waived of installation charges for new fiber connections. Speak to the local authorised personnel and negotiate.

Spoke with Airtel Guy @Nashik/MH
He asked the below
1. Installation Cost 1500 ( I asked why not 1000, he said more than 100 meters)
2. If 499 plan is taken need to pay for the router. Total was around 3500 for one month 499 + Router + Installation.
He suggested to take Rs799 plan which have free router. total pay around 4300 for three months ..

I said Bye Bye to him and ask to come back when installation is 1000 and when 499 plan is with free router. Dont mind paying 6 months
