I am only able to get average 10 to 12mbps on my bharat fiber. highest I saw was 21mbps. I have the Rs.749 plan with 50mbps and 300GB limit. I think the Rx power is not correct and it also is not authenticated and is showing a warning that says
EPON LOS

Rx power is fine, there probably is some other problem with BSNL back end.

I have been trying to contact the people for a few days, they just keep saying there is some server issue and are fixing it, have been delaying for a while now.

There is absolutely no issues with your optical parameters.

1. Signal level is good. Anything greater that -27 dBm is good enough
2. Not authenticated is not an issue, it depends on the operators OLT config.
3. There is no warning, try pulling the optical cable out, then you'd see the actual warning message.

Your actual issues could be due to something else.

@varkey any idea what it is? earlier the power was -29 but then i pulled out the cable from onu( or ont im not sure what its called) and then blew into the port and put the cable back, this rx power is the result of that.

That's a nice tip 😂. That basically saved your connection, from -29 to -23. Mine also says not authenticated, EPON LOS It's all good, depends on the OLT.

Vultr - Looking Glass Can you try downloading the 100MB file from here, see what speeds you get.

If you're facing low speeds on wifi, you'll have to buy a router. Some Netlink (the kind in your screenshot, they're sold in different names) ont have really slow wifi. Mine can only give me 16-20mbps. Using an old D-Link ADSL modem as AP gave me 50mbps. LAN is fine.

Then it's certainly on BSNL's side.

Here's some things you can do:
1. Make sure your side is all correct, try changing MTU size from the earlier posted link.
2. Restart the ONT, worked for me once after keeping it on for a week.
3. You'll have to call BSNL.
