did any existing airtel broadband user took the offer and installed the xstream box? please clarify :

1. Is it really free? or do we need pay any charges like activation charge etc??

2. rs.1500 security deposit would be added in broadband bill or where do we need to pay it?

3. how can we book the connection as CC says cant book from them ?

There are lots of T&Cs associated with the Xstream box. You are better off without it. unless you are a regular DTH user.
This is a good youtube video explaining the terms.

PS. I am in no way asssociated with the blogger, neither am I promoting this video.

How is it free if you are paying security deposit? I think some OTT subscription will be free, still you have to get their DTH and pay monthly NCF charges.

Nothing is free for Airtel lmao.

You need to pay min. 153 rupees (or the FTA NCF fee) to keep your subscription active.

You need to pay 2k for the box and you own it. You cant return it even if u deactivate the connection. No refunds.

Worse is, the shitty airtel launcher will not allow u to access any other OTT apps if u have a subcription too, unless u pay for their channels.
Basically this is illegal, its like if Amazon locking your firestick unless you buy a prime subscription.

I dont know why nobody is calling them out
