Hey there!

I read a lot of problems regarding Railwire broadband. However, it would be great for me if you can list them here, especially regarding gaming and the overall stability (speed, downtimes, packet loss etc.).

I saw that a lot people were having issues with CODM and PUBGM, is that resolved? And are you facing problems even in PC games or only these two?

That's sad. ;-; I got only Railwire in my locality and not even 100% sure that they will provide the connection. 😂 So, I'm just preparing myself for all the issues I might face. 😂

I think if you are a casual user with usage limited to normal web surfing, streaming, social media and torrents, you wont face any problems on Railwire. If your usage is work related connecting to international servers, etc then there might be issues as others are facing.

@ch@ndlerbing I'll be using it mainly for gaming.I saw mixed experience from everyone. I just hope I don't face issues in games. ;-; There is no other option here as 4G network is also poor here.

For gaming atleast request for a Gaming IP, else you might face connectivity issues in gaming and many ports related to gaming are blocked .

Earlier i had connectivity issues in games like warzone, GTA, FIFA 20, now after getting gaming IP all problems resolved. Earlier my NAT type was Strict not it's moderate

@AkashDS I'm in Jharkhand. I don't play PC games as my laptop is little old.
I too am from Jharkhand, Deoghar district. Where are you from, if you don't mind sharing.

Which plan are you using currently? I am using 799plan 50mbps unlimited.

Now thinking to change the plan 599rs 50mbps with 750gb data .

@kRuSnIk @ch@ndlerbing Yeah, the issues are with the Kolkata NOC. That's why JH,BR,OD users are affected the most. What I have observed that my pings and speeds to SG servers are more or less the same but those in EU, NA are poor. Also @kRuSnIk today the speeds are better maybe because of Saturday. I've observed normal behavior at night(after 12/1). Yeah the Netflix issues is with me as well. The other day someone shared his speeds and those were perfectly fine(for 100Mbps), I guess he was from GJ.

I believe Kolkata NOC should inform us about a tentative time for solving the issues. In that case, I would just get some VPN for a month or two as I have found better performance on a VPN than without VPN.
Hi bro your internet working? It's not working since morning, contacted LCO and they said its down in entire Bihar Jharkhand.

But just now contracted Railwire customer care, they said issue was resolved an hour back but it's still down here.

Your LCO name?

Do you guys in Jharkhand face such connection drops in between? Like in between connection goes for few seconds to few minutes.
