Jeez! these guys suck . Why cant they simply offer same set of plans everywhere like jio and airtel.

This 150Mbps 3TB plan for Rs.1024 is lucrative.

...

More importantly, To the shameless folks at Telcom talk. Ripping off screenshots from this forum and posting as if its your work is really cheap.

You could link back and give credit where its due.

Yes Today I have spoken to sales guy from whom i had taken the act connection in jaipur he said that company has no plans to update the plans here as their services are only one and half years old and in south cities services are running from old time and so their updation was due.

@vick Time to disconnect when my current subscription ends.
They just don't care about the competition it seems. It was long due in the South cities.
Do they think the customers are stupid just like their MBA people deciding the plans?

Right now if someone understand how the corporate companies work, ACT Fibernet is purely under management of PE's who are looking to make an exit by selling the company at Good profits.

- Show good ARPU and customer base, Sell the company and say Bye-Bye!

To Give you some clear idea, ACT value was $70M in 2014 and is now $1.4B! 😳

If one clearly notices, the hikes are not really as they used to be (Link: ACT's changes in FUP aren't as great as they initially appeared to be | MediaNama)

But they have already invested 500m+ in cos. So valuation of 1.4b is not sky high. Problem is no one wants to invest when rival is jio.

Not high? Hahahah. Try reading websites like Inc42,Mint and Medianama to understand Investments.

Even For say $650-700M investment in total, $1.4B is a lucrative deal.

Yes but ACT is also the 5th largest ISP in India.

Its 5th even including wireless providers (Airtel, Jio, VI, BSNL). ACT doesn't even provide 2G/3G/4G service so their subscriber base is entirely from fixed connections.

^^ Let me correct you. We would only consider Wired broadband here, not Wireless included.

They are #3rd largest. (Page number 39 in the above link)
