When would Act Fibernet launch unlimited plans like Jio and Airtel?

They have a post on their website from as recently as this year on why users "don't need" unlimited data plans. So I highly doubt that will change unless these 3.3TB data caps are phenomenally compelling to a vast swath of users.
From ACT's post //You might be tempted by the best broadband plan offering limitless data, but as discussed above in many cases you would not need more than 10 GB monthly data on an average.

Hell yeah!! What's next then ? Plans with 10 GB fup ? Lmao!!

That is an old article. Hopefully, they would change their stance with the recent developments.

ACT Fibernet has very good customer base in Hyderabad. If they don't change their plans anytime soon, they will lose long term and old customers. Many people are just waiting for their subscription to end to make a switch to some other ISP. Right now JIO is not available in every location, so some people will move to Airtel Broadband. And rest will eventually move to JIO.
Delay in announcing the new plans will be "Too little too late".

No dude , I'm just hoping and some other guy also mentioned that more likely they will announce new plans tomorrow... Also ongoing maintenance activity will done by tomorrow 5:30AM

Funny thing is Act did make their broadband truly unlimited for a brief period at the start of the pandemic. So they are probably aware how much is it going to cost them with this 3.3 TB limit.

apparently they updated their plans today. someone just posted a new thread about it.

If they didn't announce new plans by the end of this month then this must be their plan like when they see huge number of disconnections from all cities then the next day they will announce new upgraded plans with unlimited fup unless they are like if u want more fup then u can apply for disconnection...

What ever there strategy is these stupid plans won't work in the current scenario 😂.
It won't take long time for Jio or Airtel to snatch away their users and pop them out of their bubble world in which they are right now. Unless they really announce something good in next 5-10 days. They didn't even care to change plans in the other cities. They just want to see the response of users from these new plans in Bengaluru and I guess they kinda have monopoly there.
