Any Kerala Railwire users here to confirm this -
Others can also check on their self-care portal. I did not see it on Assam portal.
Not on the Bihar portal.
Anyway, they should concentrate on providing a better Internet. before doing these fake show-off things.

So...plans are changing right?.. i should call my lco or.. check regularly on website?

I talked with my LCO this morning. As @yashshr09@gmail said yesterday, I asked him about new plans. He checked and found a 1240 rupees 100 Mbps 2 TB FUP and 800+ rs 100 Mbps 100 GB FUP new plan. So nothing much to be happy about. Still too costly compared to Jio, BSNL and Airtel. This is for Assam circle.

I am actually offended by the 800rs 100 GB plan. Do they take us as fools? It should have been in the drafts.

@ch@ndlerbing Actually it depends on market situation and demand. How many of us here talking about bringing new plans. 10 -20. But railwire will have atleast million subscribers. Those who watch Netflix, Amazon on weekends and do Video calling etc , 100 GB is more than enough . 1TB , 2TB , 3TB etc are need of gamers, heavy downloaders, YouTubers .

You get 2TB on 1049. But, with just like 200rs decrease in price you get 5% of that 2TB FUP only. Completely absurd. At least make it 400-500GB. They should remove this completely useless plan.

I can't believe some people went on a meeting and pitched that plan and they voted yes on it.

@amlan_sarma yeah maybe only few are talking about new plans on this forum. But there must be many other railwire users who must be frustrated with costly plans. Railwire has one advantage it is present in smaller towns which don't have many ISPs where they can easily dominate. With no options available people will be anyway forced to use Railwire just like me. When I was looking for a connection, only Railwire was providing at my place. But if everything goes properly Jio might also enter.

100 GB is more than enough . 1TB , 2TB , 3TB etc are need of gamers, heavy downloaders, YouTubers .

I dont agree on this. If your broadband speed increases, automatically your content consumption will increase. The OTT apps will automatically latch on to highest streaming quality and if you watch a movie on Amazon prime in 1080p it will easily consume 7-8 GB, even youtube also.

100 GB is just not enough, may be people can adjust on 500 GB, but that is also less now looking at private competition. Even a state telecom player like BSNL is providing higher FUPs now for few circles.

@sarthaktripathi 2 days ago you said no plans are coming. This morning you are excited that plans are coming. Now you say you are commenting here for us only. We know plans from Railwire websites. We know you have good plans than us. Don't show off. You still don't have 100 Mbps plan 3.3TB plan that Jio fiber offers. And you are still using Railwire.
