Ok. You are on old Diamond plan. It is costly 2499 +gst.

I don’t know who said you but.
From first they never mentioned Netflix is provided as plan upgrade.( attached the screen they released on their site before at the time of new plans announcement)

Here so many are confusing that old plans are upgraded to new. That so wrong.

They said upgrade to next plan of same speed with unlimited data and same upload speed.

“you paid 2499. You should get netflix with standard plan atleast

Sure. That's why I wasn't planning on going to the consumer forum over this.

The problem here is the brand image they're giving off. They definitely lost my loyalty and the moment I find a better deal/service, I'll jump ship without sticking with them till things become unbearable. Do you know the lengths companies go to build loyalty? What did Jio even gain over this? I didn't pay any lesser than others will, not to mention their gains in interest savings through working capital infusion such long term plans bring, but here we are.

There's no confusion really. They quite literally even renamed the old plans to new ones. So your argument, about what they said, doesn't hold. I don't care what they said (like their onboarding and installation agents said I'll have Netflix and they'll bring me a landline phone respectively), I see new plan listed in my plan list, I should get the improved benefits.

old plans to new ones. -> Talking about where on myjio app or on their site.

like their onboarding and installation agents said I'll have Netflix and they'll bring me a landline phone respectively -> Taken connection on ??

Their sales guys are idiots. Never belive them.
When i asked for prepaid normal connection, one guy diverted me to corporate connection. that will be cheaper than prepaid. But it's higher and no stb and ottp apps.it's postpaid. When i contacted he nerver reponded correctly.
I have to disconnect and apply for new connection. I lost 1000 installation and refund amount is not got back.

From first day in this forum all are shared that information.

How many days old plan is left?

I'll agree that Netflix should've been given to earlier Diamond customers (Even Basic would've been fine). Not sure about them providing you a landline tho

Some users seem to have got the Netflix upgrade on the STB. Anyone on the forum?
I don't think so... In 30 Days Free period they should give at least Netflix App installed (not subscription obviously) so if we have seperate connection then we can login and use.

Simple it wont work.
Each app has monthly subscription. Validity is same as present plan.

If you downgrade only netflix is stopped (999).

If you don't want speed and want only netflix. Purchase directly on Neflix. They are going to introduce yearly plan for low cost. Or 4 members can share top plan.

You can check the validity on Myjio app Myplans> subscriptions.

**App is not launched at present in jio stb.

Yes i have purchased Netflix directly from Netflix website bit Jio STB is not having Netflix App so how can we use our own netflix login on Jio STB

Do you know when they are enabling NF App
I call up Customer Care and they said wait till 15th Sept and Agin I call up for some issue and they Saif wait for 17th Sept. I don't know they are working on software update or so...
