I am getting SMS from 3 days that XYZ person will handle your application with his number.
Finally today morning after waiting 3 days, I called him. And he disconnected the call (without picking up) and sent reply by SMS.
In SMS he asked for name of the building and OTP. And also mentioned that it will be possible to give connection only if my building already has fiber connection. (which I do not know if there is fiber connection)
So I sent him the details. But there was no reply whole day.
And suddenly in evening I got new SMS but this time person's name and mobile number changed! (OTP remained same)
And now when I am calling the new mobile number, it says "The number does not have incoming facility and will be reactivated after payment"
Overall now I have no clue - if I am getting the connection or not!

This happened with me too. The first guy (Mr. Vishal) never called. Then my connection request was assigned to another guy (Mr. Mrinal) who called me only to say that connection is not available for my location.
Later that day, a third guy called me (Mr. Tapas) and said that it is indeed available for my locality. He came to my house 3 days later for booking and registration.
I received a mail today saying installation will be done on 13th.

I got banned!
Almost same thing with me. They are sending a text message every day with a new date for rescheduling and this has been going on for 5-6 days now! Today finally someone came to my house and said oh, sorry, but our connection doesn't come this far. I ask, so how far does your connection come reach then? He points to a building which is like 150-160 metres away from me. Now I am to wait 5 days then something positive might happen! These guys either needs to say yes or not straight up so that we can make other arrangements. Letting a customer hang in the middle and extending the timeline is the worst.
PS: This was after I shared my location via whatsapp to some guy who was supposed to setup my connection. He confirmed yes, connection is possible, but today a different guy appears from nowhere, having a different mobile no. of course.
And now I got an SMS that my request could not be processed.
Then I tried to re-register and now after providing address - it is showing:
"Coming to your area soon"
Well - I guess I am not getting any trial offer.
Yes, now the speeds have been symmetrical
I keep getting calls from JIO asking if I have applied for JIO fiber connection and if I got call from anyone.
And callers sound like MTNL customer care aunties. (speaking in hindi)
That make me wonder if they all took voluntary retirement from MTNL and joined JIO.
So then I reply that that I got call saying that connection is not possible in my building.
So she replied if there is already a connection in your building then you will get it.
So I replied - koi to pehla customer hoga na. Ek se start karoge to aur customer milenge.
So she said ok dekhti hu. And disconnected.
Lets see. Fingers crossed. But not keeping any hope. Till then MTNL zindabaad.

Also can anyone tell whether jio fibre has come to kondapur , gachibowli area of Hyderabad . Can't get much info from jio fibre team except that it will take 4 months . Who is the right person to throw the exact status of jio fibre deployment in an area ?
