Port from Postpaid to Jio prepaid

Hello,

I have a postpaid Vodafone number. There is not much Vodafone signal indoors so i want to port to Jio.

Is it possible to port a postpaid number?
 
It's possible to port out from postpaid, but you would need to pay some amount for the period after your billing cycle (given that you port only after your current billing cycle is over).

Also, your current carrier will try to entice you with offers. It's up to you whether you'll give in and stay or continue with the porting request.
