I received an email during the last weeks of September that if I avail the card, I'd get 5,000 RPs. I didn't get the points, so I messaged them and they gave it to me. If I remember correctly, a lot of people got a OneCard around that time, so I was wondering if they gave the RPs to everyone?
so out of the blue i get a statement from citibank where they moved the funds in my account to rbi. i guess this happens on dormant account. i had this card like 10 years ago. and stopped using it. not sure why i did not get it cancelled. i found one of the expired cards (initially issued back in 2006 lol) and turns out it is a visa card! now wondering if i can get it reissued. call center refused to take a request right now and asked me to call during working hours because they only cater to emergency services during the night. should be fun.
Citibank issues a new card automatically upon expiration of the existing one and sends a cheque to your address if you've any funds left in your account and you decide to close it. Don't know what happened in this case.
So used one card one more time. Had disabled online transactions, international transactions and set transaction limit to 1200. Had enabled swipe to approve.
Tried to do a transaction of 5k approved using swipe and it displayed transaction approved but the quickly received notification that transaction failed due to online transactions being inactive.
Second transaction failed due to international transactions were inactive.
Third failed due to transaction limit.
Why the hell they can't tell everything in one go?
