I am from Haryana and Railwire plans in my area are
Port Speed (INR)
10 Mbps (New plan) 499+GST
20 Mbps (New plan) 599+GST
50 Mbps (New plan) 799+GST
100 Mbps (New plan) 999+GST
but the local isp in my area is providing only two plans right now as 50 Mbps UL (599+GST) and 100 Mbps UL (799+GST). All the plans are unlimited. I am confused between Railwire and local isp. I am currently using the BSNL FTTH 1277+GST plan and thinking about getting the unlimited plan from either Railwire or a local provider. My one friend just opt for 20 Mbps plan from Railwire and telling me to go for Railwire because its a government company and my other friend is using the 100 Mbps from local provider from last 2 months in case of downtimes he only got downtime once after 10 days of connection due to cable break in their area for 1 hour only. (Sorry for the bad English).

It depends on ur case ,if u are causal user involving google Netflix etc then ur local isp would be just fine . Otherwise if ur are gamer or doing any other work from activities then I suggest u should go with railwire , although railwire has issue these days like packet loss etc maybe they will fix it in the coming days.

Best way would be visit each friend for 1 hour with laptop n mobile and try all the tasks you gonna use this for.

I am using 20 Mbps unlimited plan. I get the speed most of the times though there are few connection drops from past 1-2 weeks. Railwire service completely depends on your LCO. Please do find out how is the LCO in your area. @hihfhyu74 can tell you much better. He is using Railwire connection in Haryana.

Thank you, Everyone, for replying. I checked both the internet as @igloo told me to and local isp's internet is way much better than Railwire in terms of latency and no packet loss and he is getting 110-120 Mbps download speed in 100 Mbps plan.
