Do I get a refund if I ask to replace Wi-Fi ONT with a non Wi-Fi ONT?

A question for Excitel users, I have a WiFi ONT currently, I bought an Archer A6 couple days back. Will I get the refund if I ask them to change the device to ONT without WiFi?
 
One friend of mine recently switched from dual band to Without WiFi ont modem.
LCO told him that, he (LCO) will submit his old modem to Excitel in this week and later Excitel first refund extra amount 1250 rs to LCO and then my friend can get refund from LCO however he wants.
Cash/UPI/Paytm/IMPS.

Total process would take two to three weeks.

So yes, you can change to Without WiFi ont modem without any worry for refund.
Because it's already in Excitel policy that, ONT deposit will be refunded.
So whenever you do upgrade or downgrade ONT, Excitel do refund or collect extra or remaining amount.
