still no loading of videos hosted on reddit's own servers. something funny about this though. i use a browser extension that previews images and videos when i point the cursor on links. videos load just fine when i do that. but they don't load in the reddit video player. no idea why.
reddit is doing some shitty splitting of voice and video files iirc. the videos you download directly do not have voice. you have to rely on third party services to download videos. hence the popularity of downloader bots in reddit threads. i wonder if this is causing the problem. video player fails to merge the audio and video feed and hence doesn't work at all?
there is another possibility. i use old reddit. haven't checked on new reddit which i find unusable. mobile app also loads videos just fine. so maybe it is an old-reddit-thing.

I also use old-reddit so might be that. Do you mean imagus? I also use it but for me it does not have any major difference.
looks like the video problem on reddit is not due to excitel but due to a mixup of browser addons.
