Reddit performance on Excitel

Last couple of days reddit performance has been rather awful on Excitel. Though this is not new. Images and videos take forever to load. Not sure if it is connected to DNS. Was just wondering if anyone else has also noticed the same.
 
This happened on BSNL for a few months, now fixed since a couple of weeks. Images took forever to load. The progress bar on top of images used to crawl.
 
Now Reddit is hosted on AWS . AWS have their CDN (peering)interconnection in India for faster delivery speeds. If ISP(in your case Excitel) has some issue with that , it may happen

Reddit gifs and videos have always been slow to start and slow to buffer for me.
 
lol more than 30 seconds and my inbox is still loading.
 

Experiencing this on reddit for the past 4-5 days. Especially images and videos on i.redd.it and v.redd.it take ages it's like I'm on dialup. Anything that can be done? Have opened a ticket but I'm skeptical that would achieve anything.
 
Yeah @Sushubh . If you are talking on WARP , then yes they load fine. You can also use Turbo VPN from playstore...It will do the job . It has VPN server on DO Bangalore which will connect to Reddit much better routing wise

I guess you use PIA right ?
 
WARP is run by Cloudflare only but it is a VPN connection ,it fixes any routing issues by taking a better routing path. The DNS and WARP are two different things

You can find it on playstore , also available for Windows and Mac I guess
