Is C6 good enough for 100mbps access point? My really really old Buffalo router has become quite painful to use in the corner most room of the house 😩

Solution
Is the Amazon listing for 2199 today safe option? Or are there different versions? Amazon listing is a freaking mess with multiple routers bundled together on one page with reviews and Q&A mashed up together. Also, is there any possibility I can hang this on the wall? I made a mistake during Ethernet wiring. I did not leave extra wire. Buffalo is hung on the wall behind the door. So it is a pretty tight spot to place a replacement router so that it does not get damaged by the door lol.

@Sushubh There's two versions:
1. US version
2. EU version
From what I've heard and researched, US version has more flash memory but no Openwrt support.
EU version has Openwrt support.

Any clue what Amazon listing is offering lol. That messy listing gave me a headache. Amazon really should have independent listing for these types of products.

Alright. I suppose either of the two models would work for me. if I get the OpenWrt compatible model, that would be great. But in either case, it should be fine I suppose.

Just curious. I should not get the Mi 4C router right? I mean I am currently on 100mbps plan. I might get 300mbps in future if Excitel ever brings their fiber to my area.

Also, C6 is gigabit capable right? On all ports or just one?

Ordered c6 - got us version(will mostly get us version) .. It does have snapshot version of openwrt. That's crappy and would give bad speeds on both 5ghz and 2.4ghz and even on lan connection. If you are going with stock version of the software,its pretty good 👍getting approx 200+ mbps on 5ghz constantly.
