I have a dr trust oximeter at home. I purchased it some 3-4 years back on Amazon for 1600.
But honestly if you ask me, there is no such brand required for an oximeter. A decent oximeter which shows pulse rate and oxygen level and costs around 1500-1800 should be good.
Definitely, I agree with you. You cannot take risks with medical equipment. What I meant in my above comment was that it is unnecessary to buy oximeters costing 3000-4000. There are a lot of good oximeters available under 2000, online as well as offline.
These are all re-branded Chinese machines. There's nothing special about it. Yes, a couple of companies are making them in India, but they won't be available online easily, the margin is less and they come with warranty. The ones I possess, have 1 year warranty, the actual cost is so less they don't mind giving a replacement. You won't get any warranty for the products you get online, why? All are imported primarily from China.
