Excitel ONT as wifi extender/repeater

Is there any way to use Excitel ONT (Richer link 821GWV-D) as wifi extender/repeater?
 
Why not return it to get 2000 and buy the extender itself.
 
I had requested them to take my router and refund the money 1 month back. They still haven't done so (giving the excuse of pandemic). I am leaving Delhi at the end of this month and was planning to use their ONT as extender at home, if possible !! Will return it when i come back to Delhi again.
 
Yup. Excitel engineer downloaded and installed it on their own. I tried looking on dd-wrt, but this router isn't listed.
 
Open ticket with excitel support for refund. Also if its unlocked you can sell it on this forum.
EPON with gigabit port plus ac wifi n voip port is a good deal in 2k imo.
 

Did that already. The ticket is still active after >1 month. Called them for follow up as well and they assured quick resolution.... lmao. I just want to use it as an access point with my JioFiber connection for now. Have been unsuccessful so far as i am not familiar with ONT admin interface. Will get the refund once i go back to Delhi.
 
The admin interface doesn't have a separate DHCP tab. DHCP is listed under LAN as DHCP server and DHCP configuration. Should i disable both or just the server one. And does DHCP needs to be disabled under WAN as well ?
P.S - I intend to use the ONT as an access point only. There is no separate AP or Repeater mode in the interface.
