Cash-strapped BSNL to start service in Delhi, Mumbai from January 1

According to the latest TRAI report, BSNL stood as the top wired broadband service provider with 78.5 lakh subscribers in the country. In terms of wireless broadband services, BSNL added 159 lakh subscribers as of August 31.

Haven't paid any money yet. All payment after installation. They are also offering 1Gbps.
I went with their 200Mbps plan with 3 month cycle costing 3540 Rs.
I will come back with a review after installation.
 

Wow.. no money to be paid prior to connection?? That sounds good.
Will give it a try, don't know if they are in my area but what goes..
We can change the tenure of plan at a later stage right... Like, for now, opt for 3 month plan and then later on revert back to one month plan?
 
Well I did try to pay him in advance to get the job done faster but he refused.
I have no idea about plan change part.

I am ready to dump this MTNL FTTH. They aren’t bothered with new plans and connection costs 3x the price of TataSky.

Small update: My society is now connected. They will start providing connections to individual homes from tomorrow. They offered good discounts since almost entire society is getting their connection (like 70% of appartments).
May be in a couple of days they should wire up my house as well.
