0 upload speed on Excitel Fiber

I have the 300 mbps plan that I use via LAN. Today afternoon the PON light went off randomly and I have been having problems ever since. I restarted the ONT (GX EARTH 4222) multiple times only to get a connection some times. The download speeds are fine however the upload speeds are close to 0 if not 0. I have tried it on multiple devices and all of them gave the same result. I am unable to upload photos etc. on Telegram/WhatsApp as well.

Try changing lan cable 😨

Also try dialing up by directly connecting the cable to the pc... 💆‍♂️ Assuming fiber works like ethernet on excitel.
 
I actually don't know how to get details of my LCO. I just know their name from the Excitel app. It's Futuristic Convergence Services.
 
Going back and forth with the support, I raise the issue, they assign it to LCO, LCO says connector replaced (No clue which connector) and close the ticket, I raise the ticket again.

And now the internet has gone conpletely, the PON light is not coming on even after swveral restarts.

Thinking of jumping ship but Airtel is limited to 40 mbps. The only alternatives are TriplePlay and Nextel but I don't know how good their network is.
 
Called up LCO, guy came tested power, replaced the device and guess what, the new device has firmware issues and it reboots every time the patch cable is connected. Had AnyDesk on for 3 hours just for the guy to tell me it will be taken care of in the morning.

Let's hope it gets fixed in a day or two.
 
Politely and smartly get it done. Don't create unnecessary tickets. These guys get irked with it.

If he can't or won't then its time to jump ship.
Because you'll be banging your head with excitel support. Nothing in their hand.
 
Been polite till now. Their guy visited 4 times, each time with a new ONT. First one had hardware issue, second one had firmware issue, third one didn't pick signal and the current one picks signal but doesn't show internet access.

Will get the wiring done again in an hour. Let's see.
 
Check signal stats.
Maybe,optical signal is very weak.
